What is Hold Block and why hold block application is better than LIME WASH?
When aggressive or corrosive dry bulk cargoes—such as fertilizers, salt, coal, or sulphur—come into direct contact with the metal surfaces of ship holds, they can cause rapid corrosion and surface degradation due to chemical reactions. This not only weakens the structural integrity of the vessel but also leads to costly repairs and safety risks.
To prevent such reactions and ensure long-lasting surface protection, a polymer-based protective coating is the ideal solution.

Very effective emulsifier - based cleaner for use in hold cleaning and general digressing. its heavy molecular surfactants rapidly reacts with water and produce effective cleaning solution .May be applied by brush, hand spray and by high and low pressure washing machines.
Heavy Soil deposition Use Undiluted from to 20-50% diluted with water.
Medium soil deposition 10-20% diluted with water.
Light Soil ( general degreasing ) 5-10% diluted with water.

Highly concentrated water-based cleaner with exceptional foaming power. Effectively removes oil, grease, dirt, and grime from tough surfaces. Free from hydrocarbon solvents and designed to be safer in handling. Provides quick penetration for fast and efficient cleaning. Can be applied by brush, spray, or high/low pressure washers.
Muriatic acid in high concentrations forms acidic mists. Both the mist and the solution have a corrosive effect on human tissue, with the potential to damage respiratory organs, eyes, skin, and intestines. Upon mixing Muriatic acid with common oxidizing chemicals, such as bleach (NaClO) or permanganate (KMnO4), the toxic gas chlorine is produced. To minimize the risks while working with Muriatic acid, appropriate precautions should be taken, including wearing rubber or PVC gloves, protective eye goggles, and chemical-resistant clothing.
