Scale Inhibitor for Cooling Water Systems is a liquid antiscalant designed to inhibit scale in cellulose acetate and polyamide membrane separation systems. The formulation contains a 35% by weight solution of poly acid that has a tight molecular weight range of 2000.
This product is designed for use in waters that do not have a high potential for colloidal and silt fouling of RO membrane surfaces (i.e. groundwater applications).
This Scale Inhibitor by RXSOL can be injected neat or diluted and a site‐specific dosage can be determined.
Application:
Scale Inhibitor Cooling Tower's performance is achieved when the chemical is injected downstream of multimedia filters and upstream of cartridge filters. For maximum effectiveness, it should be added prior to the static mixer or cartridge filter housing. For potable the maximum dosage is 10 mg/L. Maximum dilution is 10% with RO permeate or DI water
| Parameter | Specification |

It reduces the risk of scaling and eliminates the use of hazardous acids, resulting in efficient plant operation with highest possible conversion rate.
It is a very effective antiscalant. It is also compatible with RO CHEMICALS series of coagulant and flocculants (polyelectrolytes). Our RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is effective in minimizing scaling in presence of foulants like Calcium Carbonate, Sulfate salts of Calcium, Barium, Strontium and Magnesium, Calcium Fluoride, Iron and Silica.
Mechanism of Action of Scale Inhibitor
RXSOL Scale Inhibitor for Cooling Water Systems is the perfect easy to use liquid formulation to get rid of any scale formation in future. Its high molecular weight polymer acts as an excellent dispersant, thereby enabling easier scale inhibition and better scale cleaning.

An advanced, water-based rust remover formulated to eliminate iron oxide deposits from diesel cooling water systems. Its formulation penetrates and dissolves stubborn rust and scale while dispersing loosened contaminants for effective removal. During cleaning, it forms a temporary passivating film that protects base metals from flash corrosion. The product ensures safe, efficient maintenance without strong odors or flammability risks.

The disadvantages of not treating the closed circuit water can be equally troubling for the system operator:-
1. Leakage in PHE and AHU due to corrosion
2. Plugging and clogging of tubes and reduced flow rate
3. REduced heat transfer
4. Need of regular descalling that incurs shutdowns, loss of labor and time
5. Fouling of brine of chiller water
Chemical tratment removes dissolved oxygen that cause oxidation of metal to metal oxide i.e., Iron + Oxygen = Iron Oxide (Rust)
The chemical also contains a specific inhibitor to protect copper from corrosion and removes/prevents any sort of scale formation in the system.
