These are the requested target specifications, not independently verified finished-product test results.
We carry a complete line of condensate treatment chemicals. Condensate treatment chemicals are used to increase the condensate pH, thus reducing corrosion to the entire boiler steam system. The most common product is a tri-blend amine of cyclohexylamine, morpholine, and diethylaminoethanol (DEAE) neutralizing amines, although we do have standard RXSOL products or we can custom blend to your needs.
RXSOL-50-5005-DCM1 10% DEAE, 10% Cyclo, 10% Morpholine
RXSOL-50-5005-DCM2 20% DEAE, 20% Cyclo, 20% Morpholine
RXSOL-50-5005-C 20% Cyclohexylamine
RXSOL-50-5005-D 20% DEAE
RXSOL-50-5005-M 20% Morpholine
RXSOL-50-5005-C5 50% Cyclohexylamine
RXSOL-50-5005-D 50% DEAE
RXSOL-50-5005-M5 50% Morpholine
The specified DEAE and Morpholine ranges allow a combined active concentration above 22%, but the selected formulation must actually meet that requirement.
Two other specifications require particular attention:
Flash Point Above 90°C: This must be verified by closed-cup testing of the finished blend. The presence of DEAE can materially affect flash point, and an aqueous formulation should not be assumed to meet this limit without testing.
Vapour Pressure 0.5 mmHg at 37.8°C: This also requires verification on the finished formulation because the individual amines and water contribute to the blend's vapour pressure.
The chloride and sulphate limits are very low and should be confirmed using appropriate analytical methods and high-purity raw materials.
Store in tightly closed, chemically compatible containers in a cool, ventilated area. Protect against contamination, excessive heat and incompatible chemicals.
Use appropriate gloves, protective clothing and eye/face protection. Consult the finished-product SDS before handling.
Regulatory note: DEAE and Morpholine use in steam systems may be restricted by steam end use, especially where steam can contact food or other regulated products.

Formulation note: Before issuing a final TDS or COA, the active concentration, flash point, vapour pressure, chloride, sulphate and shelf-life specifications should be validated on the actual manufactured blend.
RXSOL-51-5005-210 alkaline and the vapors are irritating to eyes and lungs. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not take internally. Observe safety regulations wear Goggles, PVC gloves and Apron when handling Provide ample ventilation Avoid contact with skin in case of contacts wash with cupious amount of water immediately. If eyes are splashed give immediate and prolonged irrigation with clean running water and obtain medical attention.
Not for internal use :-
If swallowed do not induce vomiting give plenty of water or milk and call a doctor immediately.
Packing. GENERAL REMARKS:-Do not store RXSOL-51-5005-210 near a heating equipment.

LIME Marine does not corrode, erode, attack, oxidize or have other deleterious affects on virtually any metal or materials found in marine water systems such as: BRASS, IRON, LEATHER, CERAMIC ,WOOD, FIBER, PLASTICS FIBERGLASS, COPPER, STEEL, TITANIUM ,COPPER NICKEL ,RUBBER, GLASS, GELCOATS PAINTED SURFACES.
LIME Marine is an electrolyte, as are most cleaning agents. An electrolyte is any liquid that will transfer small electrical currents. Examples: salt water, vinegar, Coca-Cola. An electrolyte may cause plating in some types of equipment. This means a transfer of small amounts of one metal onto another metal according to the galvanic corrosion chart. In some instances, a thin coating of copper may be plated onto a steel drum while circulating an electrolyte such as RXLYME Marine. The only time plating occurs is when two dissimilar metals are in an electrolyte solution.
It is recommended, but not mandatory, that the LIME Marine solution be thoroughly mixed before using. Some settling of a dark precipitate may occur, resulting in an amber colored liquid, but has no negative affects upon the performance of the solution.

Clog Controller Biocide RXSOL-40-4009-050 should be dosed periodically at a rate of 75 - 150 ppm of the total system volume. In a badly fouled system an initial dosage rate of up to 250m1/m3 may be required which can be reduced once control is gained. In order to comply with Health & Safety recommendations Clog Controller Biocide RXSOL-40-4009-050 should be alternated with another non-oxidising or oxidizing biocide. It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
