When used in hydrostatic testing the product provides protection in liquids below, above and at the liquid levels. Protection of recessed and hard to reach areas. Complicated valves and the interior surfaces of piping and equipment, which are often difficult or impossible to reach, are protected with true Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor action. Can be applied for hydrotest solution, metalworking fluids, coatings, adhesives and water treatment formulations.

How Rust Preventive Works?
Corrosion Inhibitor for metal RUST Preventive rapidly displaces water from metal surfaces leaving a continuous polar protective film between the metal and water. This solvent-based rust preventive forms a durable protective layer on metal surfaces, effectively blocking moisture and oxygen. This corrosion & rust preventive provides strong adhesion, ensuring long-lasting corrosion resistance in harsh environments. It penetrates into pores and crevices, safeguarding even difficult-to-reach areas from rust formation. The product is easy to apply by spray, brush, or dip methods, leaving a thin, uniform film. Ideal for storage, shipping, and industrial use, it ensures metal components remain clean and rust-free.
This product also contails Benzotriazole , which is very effective effective corrosion inhibitor for copper and its alloys by preventing undesirable surface reactions. It is known that a passive layer, consisting of a complex between copper and benzotriazole, is formed when copper is immersed in a solution containing benzotriazole. The passive layer is insoluble in aqueous and many organic solutions. There is a positive correlation between the thickness of the passive layer and the efficiency of preventing corrosion. The exact structure of the copper-BTA complex is controversial and many proposals have been suggested.
