Product Description:
Coagulant Clear AL is an inorganic coagulant used for clarification of potable water, process water, and wastewater. It destabilizes colloids and fine suspended solids, forming voluminous floc that enmeshes particles for efficient sedimentation/filtration. Coagulant Clear AL also reduces turbidity, color, and phosphorus (as orthophosphate).
  • Chromium-/chloride-free
  • Effective over pH ~5.5–7.7 (optimum typically 6.0–7.0)
  • Works synergistically with coagulant aids/flocculants (e.g., anionic PAM, PAC)

  • Optimized pH window: Performs best at pH 6.0–7.0 with adequate alkalinity.
  • Predictable alkalinity demand: ~0.5 mg/L as CaCO₃ consumed per 1 mg/L product (design-friendly).
  • Low insolubles / low iron: Clean solution (insolubles ≤0.2%, Fe ≤0.03%) to protect filters and membranes.
  • RO pretreatment compatible: Low organics, minimal fouling risk when dosed upstream of media/UF.
