Product Description:
Imazethapyr is a selective, systemic herbicide belonging to the imidazolinone group, used for broadleaf and grassy weed control in crops like soybean and groundnut by inhibiting the enzyme acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS). 
Product Application:
Imazethapyr inhibits the enzyme AHAS, which is crucial for the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids, leading to disrupted protein synthesis and weed growth suppression. 
It is absorbed by both roots and foliage and translocates within the plant, accumulating in meristematic regions.
Product Dose:
Chemical Composition: Imazethapyr 10% SL.
Dosage: 400-600 ml/acre for groundnut, 400 ml/acre for soybean. Recommended rate, usually 0.5 to 1.5 liters per hectare (varies by crop and weed type).
