Product Description

RXSOL-67-6702-005 is a cost-effective solution that permeates an unsealed cementitious surface to boost a substrate's top layer's density, hardness, and strength without sacrificing breathability. For concrete surfaces that have been burnished, polished, or machine troweled, this treatment is perfect. Following a chemical reaction between the sealer and the surface, the RXSOL-67-6702-005 enhances the surface's durability and abrasion resistance, offers long-term protection against wear and traffic, lessens dusting that isn't actually caused by surface defects, and lowers the surface's total care requirements. It can also be used as a helper for polishing concrete since it increases the initial hardness of the surface, which shortens the polishing process and results in a denser and smoother burnished or polished surface. Sealer is non-flammable, compliant with VOCs, and environmentally beneficial.
Sealer has an odorless solution that is suitable for indoor usage, is non-flammable, and complies with VOC regulations. The look of RXSOL-67-6702-005 is obvious. When applied correctly, the substrate will dry with minimal to no change in appearance. Nonetheless, burnished or polished surfaces may typically be given a polished look by applying with a scrubber or polisher and polishing with a white pad after.

Surface Preparation

The optimal substrates for sealing will be at least 28 days old and/or totally cured. When concrete is first put, its surfaces need to be dry, clean, free of bleed water, finished in terms of finishing, and porous enough to allow the concrete to seep into the substrate. Waiting three to seven days after placement, when peak hydration and off-gassing have sufficiently slowed to provide improved sealer penetration into the substrate, can yield further benefits. Surface laitance, dust, dirt, debris, mildew, oil, grease, past sealers, curing agents, paint or other surface coatings, and other pollutants should all be removed from substrates that are already in place. Before applying any cleaning solution or acid to the surface to be cleaned or etched, be sure the surface is fully neutralized.

Application

Prior to application, porosity should always be tested, especially on extremely dense surfaces. For the sealer to penetrate well, the surface needs to be dry. Applying to moist or damp surfaces is not advised. The product only needs to be mixed once; it is a one-part system. Mix the mixture well both in preparation and when applying. Use a temperature of no less than 40°F or more than 95°F for applying or drying. Using a low pressure sprayer, apply evenly. To keep the edge wet while applying material, work in tiny, controllable sections at a time. The product need to be applied to the brink and completely absorbed, free of puddles, in ten minutes.
To ensure that the product is applied evenly and disperses any puddles, use a broom, roller, or microfiber pad. Excessive application of the product may leave behind white residue, particularly on darker or colored surfaces, although this residue usually goes away with time or with power washing. After applying the sealer for the last time, thoroughly rinse the surface with water for two hours, and then sweep up any leftover material to lessen the possibility of white residue remaining on the surface. In most cases, just one application is needed. Wait about one to two hours in between coats if you want to use more product and want to apply more coats.
Apply with a floor scrubber (black pad) or high speed polisher for a more polished look on burnished or polished surfaces. After 12 hours, buff with a white pad. Utilizing warm water, clean the application materials.
