2. It can also be used as a desiccant, such as for the drying of nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, hydrogen chloride, other gases.
3. It is the best material for port fog elimination, road dust collection, and fabric fire protection.
4. Used as a dehydrating agent in the production of alcohols, esters, ethers, and acrylic resins.
5. Calcium chloride aqueous solution is an important refrigeration medium for refrigerators and ice making. It can also accelerate the hardening of concrete and increase the cold resistance of construction mortar. It is an excellent antifreeze for construction.
6. Used as a protective and refining agent for aluminum-magnesium metallurgy. It is a precipitant for the production of lake pigments.
7. Used for waste paper processing and deinking.
8, is the raw material for the production of calcium salt.
9. Calcium chloride solution is used as a flocculant in the sodium alginate industry and the soy product industry.
Application
It is mainly used for the industry of dyeing, medicine, leather making, paper making, chemical fiber, film, photographing, food, etc.
Application
Calcium Chloride is used mainly as an agent for gas drying, as an additive to oil-drilling mud, as a de-icing agent, and as an anti-frosting agent for concrete, as a binding agent for de-dusting as well for the preparation of solutions as heating media or for the preparation of cooling brines. The product is typically available in form of lye or in solid form or granules.
Calcium Chloride can be used to achieve rapid density increase with minimum volume addition. It also provides inhibition preventing the hydration and migration of swelling clays and can be used in packer fluids. Calcium Chloride is available with anhydrous (CaCl2) and dihydrate (CaCl2.2H2O) in form of powder and pellets.
Uses
De-icing and freezing-point depression
By depressing the freezing point of water, calcium chloride is used to prevent ice formation and is used to de-ice. This application consumes the greatest amount of calcium chloride. Calcium chloride is relatively harmless to plants and soil. As a deicing agent, it is much more effective at lower temperatures than sodium chloride. When distributed for this use, it usually takes the form of small, white spheres a few millimeters in diameter, called prills. Solutions of calcium chloride can prevent freezing at temperatures as low as −52 °C (−62 °F), making it ideal for filling agricultural implement tires as a liquid ballast, aiding traction in cold climates.
It is also used in domestic and industrial chemical air dehumidifiers.
Road surfacing
The second-largest application of calcium chloride exploits its hygroscopic nature and the tackiness of its hydrates; calcium chloride is highly hygroscopic and its hydration is an exothermic reaction. A concentrated solution keeps a liquid layer on the surface of dirt roads, which suppresses the formation of dust. It keeps the finer dust particles on the road, providing a cushioning layer. If these are allowed to blow away, the large aggregate begins to shift around and the road breaks down. Using calcium chloride reduces the need for grading by as much as 50% and the need for fill-in materials as much as 80%.

RXSOL is one of the leading Carboxymethyl cellulose Exporters, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Producers in Vadodara, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Haldia, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata, surat, and Mumbai India.
Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) or cellulose gum is a cellulose derivative with carboxymethyl groups (-CH2-COOH) bound to some of the hydroxyl groups of the glucopyranose monomers that make up the cellulose backbone. It is often used as its sodium salt, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. It used to be marketed under the name Tylose, a registered trademark of SE Tylose.
Carboxy Methyl Cellulose(CMC)is synthesized by the alkali-catalyzed reaction of cellulose with chloroacetic acid. The polar (organic acid) carboxyl groups render the cellulose soluble and chemically reactive. The functional properties of Fooding Carboxy Methyl Cellulose(CMC) depend on the degree of substitution of the cellulose structure (i.e., how many of the hydroxyl groups have taken part in the substitution reaction), as well as the chain length of the cellulose backbone structure and the degree of clustering of the carboxymethyl substituents.
Application
Food and MedicinePrevent protein in acid milk from condensing, settling, and laminating. Due to its unusual smooth sugar paste state, after it dissolves, it makes the drink taste good and smooth.
Its good evenness and acid resistance provide the drink with excellent stability. Effectively improve the cracking or collapsing of flakes to dissolve the effective element.
Paper Making Grade
CMC is used in the paper industry for binding the ingredients, and for increasing the strength of paper. Some purified and technical grades are also used for smoothing the surface of the paper, which means better printability and quality.

Magnesium chloride CAS 7786-30-3 application:
Magnesium chloride is mainly used to make metal magnesium, as a disinfectant, fire extinguishing agent, ice salt refrigerant, and also used in ceramics, textiles, papermaking, and other industries. Magnesium chloride solution is mixed with magnesium oxide in a certain proportion, commonly known as magnesia cement, which is hard and wear-resistant. If wood chips and shavings are added as fillers, they can be made into artificial marble, particleboard, etc. Mixing magnesium chloride with magnesia can be used as a steelmaking furnace lining. Both seawater and bittern contain magnesium chloride. It can be prepared by reacting with magnesia or magnesite and hydrochloric acid.
Dust and erosion control
Magnesium chloride is one of many substances used for dust control, soil stabilization, and wind erosion mitigation. When magnesium chloride is applied to roads and bare soil areas, both positive and negative performance issues occur which are related to many application factors.
Catalyst support
Ziegler-Natta catalysts used commercially to produce polyolefins, contain MgCl2 as catalyst support. The introduction of MgCl2 supports increases the activity of traditional catalysts and allowed the development of highly stereospecific catalysts for the production of polypropylene.
Ice control
Magnesium chloride is used for low-temperature de-icing of highways, sidewalks, and parking lots. When highways are treacherous due to icy conditions, magnesium chloride helps to prevent the ice bond to the pavement, allowing snow plows to clear the roads more efficiently.
Magnesium chloride is used in three ways for pavement ice control: Anti-icing, when maintenance professionals spread it onto roads before a snowstorm to prevent snow from sticking and ice from forming; prewetting, which means a liquid formulation of magnesium chloride is sprayed directly onto salt as it is being spread onto roadway pavement, wetting the salt so that it sticks to the road; and pretreating, when magnesium chloride and salt are mixed together before they are loaded onto trucks and spread onto paved roads. Calcium chloride damages concrete twice as fast as magnesium chloride. It should be noticed that the amount of magnesium chloride is supposed to be controlled when it is used for de-icing as it may cause pollution to the environment.
Nutrition and medicine
Magnesium chloride is used in nutraceutical and pharmaceutical preparations.
Cuisine
Magnesium chloride (E511) is an important coagulant used in the preparation of tofu from soy milk.
In Japan, it is sold as nigari ( derived from the Japanese word for "bitter"), a white powder produced from seawater after the sodium chloride has been removed, and the water evaporated. In China, it is called lushui .
Nigari or Iushui is, in fact, natural magnesium chloride, meaning that it is not completely refined (it contains up to 5% magnesium sulfate and various minerals). The crystals originate from lakes in the Chinese province of Qinghai, to be then reworked in Japan. Millions of years ago, this region was home to an ancient ocean that gradually dried up and of which only salty lakes with brackish water saturated with salt where magnesium chloride crystallizes remain today.
