These Adsorbent catalysts are non-regenerative adsorbent is the preferred product for removing trace HCl from Olefin-containing hydrocarbon streams. Adsorbent is used to treat the net gas and LPG produced in catalytic reforming units, the reactor effluent from process units, and various liquid hydrocarbon streams.

Dechlorination catalyst is prepared using pseudo boehmite and metal active components with excellent dechlorination performance as raw materials by using a ball rolling process; It has the characteristics of rapid reaction with hydrogen chloride. The remarkable characteristics of this product are large specific surface area, rapid reaction, strong adaptability, high chlorine capacity, and wide application range. It can be used under different pressures and can be used to remove hydrogen chloride from a wide range of materials.

How Dechlor Adsorbent Beads 204 Works
  • High Surface Area: Activated alumina features a porous structure with a high surface area (often exceeding 200 m²/g), providing extensive contact sites.
  • Chemically Active Sites: The surface reacts with gaseous or liquid contaminants (like HCl in industrial streams or chloride ions in water) to trap them permanently within the matrix.
  • Promoted Formulations: Special active promoters are often added to activated alumina to maximize chloride loading capacity and prevent unwanted side reactions like green oil formation.
