The RXSOL Chemical Department provides Ferric Sulfate in a specialty liquid blend and standard granular form. And products dilute with water to reach desired concentrations prior to chemical treatment. Both products lower pH and/or flocculate contaminants in wastewater to aid in co-precipitation and removal of solids and metals.
Handling :
The handling of any chemical requires care. Anyone responsible for using or handling Ferric Sulfate should familiarize themselves with the full safety precautions outlined in our Material Safety Data Sheet.
Storage
Storage tanks and piping should be constructed of suitable material such as stainless steel, fiberglass, or cross-linked polyethylene. With this chemical it is recommended to clean the storage tank every 1-2 years.

EDTA is most commonly used to determine hardness (i.e., Calcium and Magnesium ions) in water, where the pH must be approximately 10 and is usually controlled by adding a buffer such as Water Hardness Buffer. Water Hardness Indicator (Eriochrome Black T), Eriochrome Blue Black R, Calmagite, and Murexide are used for hardness or Calcium determinations using EDTA.
