Filter Clean Special HD – Coil Cleaning Procedure

Before Starting:
Ensure the unit and all fans are turned off for safety.

Step 1 – Prepare the Cleaning Solution

• Mix 1 part Filter Clean Special HD with 5 parts water.

• Important: Always add water to the sprayer tank first, then add Filter Clean Special HD.
  (add Filter Clean Special HD first, then water.)

Step 2 – Apply the Solution

• Using a  sprayer, thoroughly spray the cleaning solution on the coil plates.

• Ensure complete coverage on all surfaces of the plates.

Step 3 – Dwell Time

• Allow the cleaning solution to remain on the surface for 5–15 minutes to loosen dirt, grease, and residues.

Step 4 – Rinse Thoroughly

• Rinse off all coil surfaces using a hose or the system’s built-in spray nozzles (if equipped).

• Use hot water, if available, for enhanced cleaning performance.

Step 5 – Repeat if Necessary

• For heavily soiled units, repeat Steps 2 through 4 until the coils are fully clean.
