Therapeutic and pharmaceutical applications of Monosodium Phosphate MSP:

MSP can be used to treat constipation or to cleanse the bowel. This mineral is in a group of drugs known as “salt laxatives.” For adults 18 years of age and older, sodium phosphate laxatives are usually given before colonoscopy to empty the stool for a checkup without any obstruction.

MSP Mono Sodium Phosphate is used in various products, especially in the dental industry to repair teeth, prevent decay, or as a protector of tooth enamel. it is soluble in water but incompatible with ethanol and ether and creates heterogeneous mixtures with them.

It is an important compound in the human body and changes in its amount and Its concentration in the body can cause disease. The function of this salt in the body is to help regulate rapid fluctuations in acidity in the role of a buffer.
