Water Treatment
Welded stainless steel is not corrosion-resistant until the heat tint is pickled off and the chromium-oxide layer is restored. RXSOL supplies the full sequence used by fabricators, shipyards and food-plant maintenance crews: RX JELLY Pickling Paste (HF/HNO3 gel for weld seams) and the matching Pickling Paste Neutralizer; Passivex C and Passivation Liquid RX (nitric-acid based) and Safe Passivator Liquid 630 (citric-acid based, no nitric fumes) for immersion or spray passivation; Passivate-1 SS Cleaner and Passivate-2 SS Surface Cleaner for pre-cleaning; Super Dilac Acidic Detergent for scale and residue; Spatter Remover Welding Anti Spatter; and the test chemicals — Copper Sulphate passivation test, Ferroxyl test, Palladium Chloride Solution and Passivation reagent 17 — to prove the result. Hydrofluoric Acid 50% and a triazine-based H2S scavenger/corrosion inhibitor are listed for formulators and oilfield users.
