Applications
Dehumidifying and dehydrating agent, air condition, drying of compressed air and other gases, and liquids such as refrigerants and oils containing water in suspension.
White silica gel is non-toxic, non-flammable and chemically unreactive, while colour full silica gel contains various type of other chemicals like cobalt chloride. Cobalt Chloride works as moisture indicator as Cobalt (II) chloride is deep blue when dry (anhydrous) and pink when moist (hydrated).
