Instead of buying four chemicals separately, a plant or vessel can ask RXSOL for a programme: we take the feed-water analysis and boiler data, select the products, calculate the initial and daily doses, supply the test kit and set the control ranges.
Steps
- You send feed-water hardness, alkalinity, chlorides, pH, boiler pressure, steaming rate and blowdown practice.
- We propose the programme — typically an oxygen scavenger (carbohydrazide, sulphite or hydrazine), an alkalinity/phosphate treatment (BoilerGuard SCP or Autotreat for small boilers), and a neutralising amine (Condensnol) — with doses per tonne of feed water.
- Chemicals, test kit and a log sheet are delivered; the crew or operator tests daily and adjusts within the stated ranges.
- We review the log monthly and adjust the programme.
Typical control ranges — P-alkalinity 100–300 ppm as CaCO3, sulphite reserve 20–50 ppm, chlorides below the boiler-maker's limit, condensate pH 8.3–9.0.
Frequently asked questions
Is this for marine or land boilers?
Both — auxiliary and exhaust-gas boilers on ships, fire-tube and water-tube boilers in plants.
What does the programme cost?
Only the chemicals and kits; the dosing plan is free with supply.
Can you supply hydrazine-free products?
Yes — carbohydrazide and sulphite-based scavengers.
