What we provide - Product match: COAL REMOVER RX Hold / COAL STAIN REMOVER for coal and petcoke staining; Cement Remover RX Hold or Hold Block Remover for cement and clinker; Alkaclean HD, Holdbrite XF or BRIGHT CARGO for rust bloom and general grime before grain; Copper Concentrate Cleaner for sulphide ores; Inhibited Hydrochloric Acid / Marine Acid Cleaner for scale. - Quantity: typical consumption is 500–1,000 L of concentrate for a 5-hold Handymax and 1,000–2,000 L for a 7-hold Panamax; dilution 1:6–1:9 for alkaline hold wash, up to 1:20 for acid brighteners. - Method sheet: pre-wash, application by hold-wash gun or foam lance, dwell, sea-water rinse, fresh-water rinse, and the survey the vessel is cleaning for. - Delivery of drums and PPE at the next call through the port branch. - Supervision on board at Indian ports on request.

Can the crew apply these?
Yes with the PPE listed; acid products require full chemical PPE and ventilation.

The method sheet states coating compatibility and maximum dwell for epoxy and zinc-silicate coatings.
