Reverse-osmosis plants lose output to scale and fouling long before the membranes fail. RXSOL offers the chemicals as a programme tied to your feed-water analysis.
Antiscalant selection — from the feed analysis (Ca, Mg, Ba, Sr, HCO3, SO4, SiO2, pH) and the recovery, we recommend Antiscalant RO 5300, 4101 or ALKA 191T and the dose in ppm, with a high-silica grade for brackish wells. Dosing is continuous into the feed before the cartridge filters.
Cleaning (CIP) — alkaline (Membrane Cleaner Alkaline, pH 11–12) for organics and biofilm, acidic (ORG Clean MC 721, pH 2–3) for carbonate and iron, with temperature, circulation time and soak written as a procedure for your operators; triggers are a 10–15% drop in normalised flow or a 15% rise in differential pressure.
Biofouling control — ProShield PC55 non-oxidising biocide at the stated contact time, or oxidising pretreatment with chlorine followed by bisulphite dechlorination before the membranes.
Frequently asked questions
Do you run a scaling projection?
Yes — send the analysis and recovery; we return the dose recommendation.
Are the cleaners compatible with polyamide membranes?
Yes; the pH and temperature limits in the procedure protect the membrane warranty.
Can you supply to the UAE and Oman?
Yes, from Fujairah and Barka.
