Bismuth(III) sulfate, with the chemical formula Bi2(SO4)3, is an inorganic compound, a salt of bismuth metal and sulfuric acid, appearing as a white, hygroscopic solid that decomposes at 465 °C. It is also known as bismuth trisulfate or bismuth sesquisulfate.

• Diarrhea Treatment: Bismuth subsalicylate, a bismuth compound, is used to treat diarrhea and help prevent traveler's diarrhea. 
• Ulcer Treatment: Under a doctor's direction, bismuth subsalicylate is used with other medications to treat stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori.
