RXSOL tank cleaners are formulated for the residues a vessel actually carries: crude and fuel-oil sludge, heavy aromatics and hydrocarbon solvents, vegetable and animal oils, natural latex, chemical cargoes and the hard stains they leave on coated and stainless tanks. The range runs from high-alkaline heavy-duty cleaners (Tankleen HD, Tank Cleaner Super S, ALKAATUFF HOLD CLEAN) through solvent-emulsion cleaners for black-oil residue (Oil Sludge Cleaner Heavy VOLC, KT-SOL PLUS) to neutral and low-foam detergents such as TPOL for general tank washing and wall-wash preparation. Specialised items include Tankleen VO for vegetable-oil and hard stains, Rust Stain Remover (RSR) for passivated steel, mutual-solvent agents for incompatible residues, reverse demulsifiers for slop treatment and BioGuard tank biocide.
Every product lists the recommended dose per cubic metre of wash water or per tank, the method (direct injection to the Butterworth machine, recirculation, spray or hand application), temperature and contact time, and the water-quality test to confirm the tank is ready for the next cargo. Concentrates are supplied in 25 and 210-litre HM-HDPE packs and are available from stock at Indian ports and Fujairah.

Which tank cleaner removes vegetable-oil residue?
Tankleen VO RX is formulated for vegetable-oil and hard polymerised stains; for heavy black-oil residue use Oil Sludge Cleaner Heavy VOLC or Tankleen HD, and follow with TPOL as a neutral final wash.
What is the typical dosage?
Alkaline heavy-duty cleaners are generally injected at 0.5–2% into the Butterworth wash water; direct spot application is used at full strength. The exact figure is given on each product page and technical bulletin.
Are the cleaners safe for coated tanks?
Each product page states coating compatibility (epoxy, zinc silicate, phenolic, stainless). Alkaline cleaners are suitable for most epoxy coatings; check the bulletin for zinc-silicate limits and contact time.
